The core of ABA’s mission is to assist the believer in their journey with Christ. In helping the Christian go DEEP, ABA is committed to four things:

  • DISCIPLE – This is at the core of ABA’s mission - to move beyond basic knowledge and into the intentional discipleship of believers, emphasizing the lifelong journey of following Christ and growing in spiritual maturity.
  • EQUIP – At ABA we look to provide the necessary tools, biblical training, and resources required for someone to step into their calling with confidence and skill.
  • EMPOWER - Equipping provides the "how," but empowerment provides the "authority" and "courage." This reflects ABA’s role in raising up Indigenous leaders to lead their own communities, validating their unique voices and cultural contexts within the Body of Christ.
  • PROCLAIM - The ultimate purpose of being equipped is to go out and proclaim the Gospel. ABA’s passion is to produce able ministers of this Good News, who will go forth and be effective agents of change - sharing the message of hope and truth with others across their community, their nation and perhaps the world.
